How it works


  1. Order your SkyShepherd GPS Dog Fence Collar and download the mobile app
  2. Once you get your collar, create your first custom-shaped boundary in seconds in the SkyShepherd app
  3. Familiarize yourself with your boundary and the SkyShepherd system
  4. When you're ready, start training your dog on SkyShepherd
    • The Quick-Start Guide has easy-to-follow instructions on setup and training
    • Each dog is different, but training can take between a few days to a few weeks
      • Training happens in short sessions and you can do multiple sessions each day
    • We have helpful video tutorials in our Help Center to get you started and guide you along the way
    • You can also call or write SkyShepherd Customer Support with any questions
  5. Once your dog is trained, just monitor as you normally would. Your dog should take to new boundaries very quickly and in most cases only require a brief tour of the new boundary, if anything
