At least 1 acre of land they are trying to contain their dog within (this general guideline for sizing works best with our layered boundary zones and dynamic feedback, also due to dynamics of GPS-based systems)
An area to contain that has up to a moderate canopy of foliage predominating (a heavy foliage canopy over the containment area may not be a good fit for SkyShepherd, depending on the situation and how prevalent it is within the containment area)
